Administrative Assistant


 
 

We are seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to provide the required administrative support to the Principal Investigator and/or Group in matters related with new Grant awards.

JOB ACTIVITIES: Include but not limited to: - General clerical duties - photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, making, answering, and redirect telephone calls as deliver messages; schedule interviews/meetings according with lab member(s) availability; Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software). Permanently maintain updated the existing records/databases for projects, lab members and Collaborators, Publications, traveling, etc. Autonomy to look and follow pre-settled requirements

Personal Skills: The hired person must be resourcefulness and professional, highly organized, able to work independently and sensitivity to confidential matters. Must have flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills and project coordination experience. Project a professional group image through in-person and phone interaction. Must also be able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as external collaborators.

Professional Skills: Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Strong written, analytical and arithmetic skills. Strong accounting, computer, internet research and presenting/publishing skills. Telephone protocol knowledge is preferential.
